SUMMARY:DOUBLE BILL! TIGERS AND ONE NIGHT WITH MARILYN
DESCRIPTION:Preview of One Night with Marilyn: Unknown to her many millions of fans in February 1961 Marilyn Monroe was sectioned by her psychiatrist Dr. Marianne Kris to the Payne Whitney Clinic\, the psychiatric division of Cornell University New York. Marilyn was under the impression she was being sent for some rest and recuperation by her trusted doctor. Marilyn was exhausted after the stressful filming schedule of ‘The Misfits’\, its lukewarm reception and her fresh separation from Arthur Miller. In addition Marilyn had set alarm bells ringing amongst her friends and psychiatrist by talking of ‘ending it all’…….. \nAs she was being escorted into the clinic Marilyn became aware that this was no ordinary place and started to become quite anxious. She had often been to such places previously to visit her mother who had been confined to mental institutions for many years and was a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic.  Marilyn herself had a growing complex that she too was going insane and friends noticed that occasionally she behaved as if pre-occupied by ‘voices’ she claimed to be speaking to her. Marilyn checked-in wearing a disguise and under the pseudonym ‘Faye Miller’. Upon arrival at her ‘room’ in the clinic a dishevelled unwell looking Marilyn was given a hospital gown\, then left alone in her locked cell. To make matters worse the tranquilisers and prescribed medication she had been taking for some time to calm her nerves and any personal possessions had been removed. She feels lost and alone as withdrawal symptoms start to kick in –  but was Marilyn Monroe ever really alone…?  \nTigers: During a lucid dream\, ROBERT\, once an adorable child\, meets someone he loved and cherished when he was eight years old – HIMSELF: His inner-self\, BOB.\nBoth characters are the same person\, the same age\, with completely opposing personalities.\nBOB is the person ROBERT should have become\, had he not gone into a place\, their mother absolutely forbade.\nBOB\, (Inner-self. Refined and sophisticated)\, questions ROBERT\, why he went\ninto this place\, where a sexual predator abused him.\nThis experience caused ROBERT to endure decades of guilt\, trauma and shame;\nhaunted with nightmares of being hunted by\, ‘The smiling tiger.’ The face of his abuser.\nThey both re-enact their past\, present\, hopes and aspirations; but above all else\,\nROBERT learns how to love himself once more.\nThis is a story of hope and compassion for survivors of sexual abuse. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClick Here to Book Now

SUMMARY:The Book of Audrey
DESCRIPTION:Audrey Shalosh has lived a life full of stories. Some she’s proud of. Some she’d rather forget. And some that refuse to stay buried. When she arrives in the afterlife\, Audrey isn’t met with quiet reflection\, but with bright lights\, a live audience\, and a host who already knows everything. In Moroni Live\, her life is laid out piece by piece — every choice\, every misstep\, every moment that shaped who she is. As the line between judgement and entertainment begins to blur\, Audrey is faced with more than just her past. She must decide how to own it. Bold\, heartfelt\, and sharply funny\, The Book of Audrey explores identity\, accountability\, and the power of telling your story in your own voice. Because when your life becomes a spectacle… who really gets to decide its worth? \n  \nAs Part of Queer Words 2026 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClick Here to Book Now

SUMMARY:The Easy Way Out
DESCRIPTION:A musician\, a doctor\, and a traumagenic personification of God walk into a hospital. Tale as old as time. \nEli Yim\, a young adult in a mental health crisis\, goes to A&E in a last-ditch attempt to get help. What begins as a flippant retelling of their life story becomes an exploration of suicidality’s brutal truth – when no one else can save you\, you must keep choosing to save yourself. \nThe Easy Way Out combines theatre\, live music\, and stand up comedy to both entertain and expose the uncomfortable reality of UK mental health services. Eli shares a range of personal experiences covering generational trauma\, religion\, and queer identity through original songs sung onstage with their keyboard. And\, sometimes\, an inappropriately-timed kazoo. \n“A complex\, engaging performance that reflects Eli Yim’s endless talent” – Buxton Festival Fringe 2025\n\nTrigger/content warnings:\n– Swearing\n– Mentions of suicide\n– Mentions of transphobia\n  \nAs part of Queer Words Festival 2026 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClick Here to Book Now
